Where Is AIDA City?

What's Being Built

AIDA is a joint venture between Dar Global (the London-listed international arm of Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan) and OMRAN Group, Oman's state tourism development company. Valued at around $2.4 billion, it represents one of the largest private real estate investments in Omani history.

The development is anchored by the Trump International Golf Club Oman — an 18-hole championship course — alongside the Trump International Hotel Oman, making AIDA the first Trump-branded development in the GCC. Beyond the golf and hotel components, the masterplan includes a full resort ecosystem: a beach club, a cliff-hanging nightclub, retail, dining, and residential collections ranging from one-bedroom apartments up to seven-bedroom oceanfront villas — meaning AIDA covers a genuinely wide range of budgets and lifestyles within one address, not just ultra-high-end villas.

The project is being delivered in phases, with the anchor golf club and hotel targeting a December 2028 opening; construction is actively underway and the project secured major financing from the National Bank of Oman in early 2026.
